Supportive Therapy Treatments

Supportive Therapy Treatments for Pain Relief & Recovery

Supportive therapies are integrated treatments used alongside medical massage or therapeutic massage to enhance results, reduce pain, and improve recovery. These therapies allow us to target specific areas more effectively, support tissue healing, and improve overall outcomes.

Integrated into every medical and therapeutic massage treatment when necessary or available as an individual treatment.

Myofascial Cupping

Myofascial cupping uses specialized cups to create gentle decompression of the soft tissues, helping to improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, and increase mobility. This technique can be especially helpful for tight, restricted areas and chronic pain patterns.

IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)

IASTM uses precision tools to break up fascial restrictions and scar tissue, promoting better movement and tissue health. This technique is commonly used for chronic injuries, tendon issues, and areas of limited mobility.

Hot & Cold Therapy

Hot and cold therapies are used to manage pain and inflammation and support the healing process.

  • Heat therapy helps relax muscles, increase circulation, and reduce stiffness

  • Cold therapy helps decrease inflammation, numb pain, and calm irritated tissues

These therapies may be used before, during, or after treatment depending on your condition.

Paraffin Wax Therapy

Paraffin wax therapy provides deep, soothing heat to joints and soft tissues, making it especially beneficial for:

  • Arthritis

  • Joint stiffness

  • Chronic hand or foot pain

This treatment helps improve circulation, reduce stiffness, and promote comfort in deeper joint structures.

Rapid Release (Vibration Therapy)

Rapid Release therapy uses high-speed vibration to help relax muscles, reduce tension, and improve mobility. This technique is effective for:

  • Breaking up muscle tightness

  • Reducing soreness

  • Enhancing recovery after activity or injury

It provides a quick and effective way to target stubborn areas of tension.

Benefits of Supportive Therapies

When combined with your treatment plan, supportive therapies can:

  • Enhance pain relief

  • Improve circulation and tissue health

  • Reduce muscle tension and stiffness

  • Increase mobility and range of motion

  • Support faster recovery
