Idaho Medical Massage is a specialized medical massage and manual therapy practice dedicated to providing individualized, patient-centered care for musculoskeletal conditions, dysfunctions, soft-tissue concerns, and lymphatic system needs.

Owned and operated by Amber Koompin, LMT, Idaho Medical Massage provides one-on-one care tailored to each patient's individual needs, medical history, functional concerns, and treatment goals. Each session is approached with thoughtful assessment and clinical reasoning to determine appropriate massage and manual therapy techniques.

Rather than focusing solely on relaxation, treatment is designed to support the management of musculoskeletal pain, muscular tension, soft-tissue restrictions, mobility limitations, and other conditions for which massage therapy may be appropriate.

Treatment may incorporate medical massage, manual therapy, myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, therapeutic stretching, manual lymphatic drainage, and other supportive techniques based on the patient's needs.

Referral-Based & Insurance Care​

Idaho Medical Massage works with patients referred by physicians and other healthcare providers and accepts insurance plans that include applicable massage therapy benefits.

When massage therapy is appropriate, treatment may be incorporated as part of a patient's broader plan of care. Appropriate referrals, prescriptions, and documentation are obtained when required by the patient's insurance plan or clinical circumstances.

As a private, one-provider practice, Amber personally provides every treatment and remains directly involved in each patient's care. This allows for consistency from appointment to appointment and gives patients the opportunity to work with the same therapist throughout their care.
